(Senior) Procurement Manager/ Buyer (m/w/d)

Your tasks
The position of (Senior) Procurement Manager/Buyer (m/f/d) offers you, as an ambitious procurement expert, an exciting opportunity to contribute your skills in a fast-growing and dynamic company. In this role, you will support the procurement of raw materials and ensure their delivery in the highest quality and at competitive prices. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Strategic buying responsibility for both raw materials and finished products categories, to achieve cost savings, quality improvement, and risk reduction.
  • Selection and qualification of new suppliers, products, and qualities.
  • Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contractual agreements with suppliers.
  • Drive cost reduction and value creation initiatives across categories, including alternate sourcing, spec simplification, and packaging harmonization.
  • Lead sourcing activities including RFIs, RFQs, and negotiations without compromising quality.
  • Build and manage strong relationships with co-manufacturers and supply partners.
  • Ensure supplier compliance with food safety, sustainability, and legal standards.
  • Monitor supplier performance and maintain accurate data and reporting.
Your profile
  • You have at least 4 years of professional experience in packaged goods and co-pack sourcing, ideally with some experience in global raw material sourcing.
  • You hold a degree in business administration, economics, or a similar field, or have completed equivalent vocational training.
  • You live in Berlin or the surrounding area and enjoy working on-site at our headquarters in Schöneberg.
  • You have excellent English skills; German is a plus.
  • You possess a strategic and data-driven mindset, and your decisions are based on thorough analysis.
  • You are highly structured and organized in your work, enabling you to manage complex tasks and projects responsibly.
  • A hands-on mentality and strong assertiveness are among your personal strengths.
  • Last but not least: You’re a true team player with strong interpersonal skills for building positive working relationships.
