Your tasks
Do you enjoy working with language, playing with words in a creative, casual, comprehensive, and inspiring way? Are you the kind of person that loves researching topics in-depth and learning specialised terminology? Well then, welcome to the KoRo team!
We are looking for an intern who can support us in SEO optimization, performance marketing, and translation (DE - PT) to boost our search engine performance and visibility on the Portuguese market. 

SEO:
  • Research of product-related information, keyword research, and SEO-optimization of product descriptions (existing as well as new texts)
  • Collaboration with our German performance marketing and content team in the creation of creative and SEO-optimised content for the Portuguese shop
  • Monitoring and evaluation of the SEO key figures and performance
Performance Marketing:
  • Design, implementation, and development of our performance marketing activities, for example, ads and campaigns in Portugal
  • Monitoring, analysis, and optimization of those performance marketing activities and the related data
Translation:
  • Translation and administration of content for our online shop 
  • Translation of product descriptions, news articles, blog entries, press texts, social media content, and all other website content
  • Collaboration with and assistance in the Portuguese marketing and social media activities
  • Creation of country-specific content for social media and PR
Your profile
  • You are looking for an internship starting in August 2022
  • You have completed studies or are studying communication and/or online marketing and ideally already have some previous experience in the field of translations, writing editorial content, SEO and/or performance marketing
  • Language skills: Excellent Portuguese (C2 level), a very good understanding of German, and a very good command of English (written and spoken)
  • You have a good command of words and you can work independently and keep a cool head even in stressful situations
  • One of your strengths is creativity as well as strong communication skills and you enjoy working in creative freedom - what matters to us are the results
  • You have a broad understanding of Portuguese media (classic and online) and an interest in search engine optimisation
  • You are curious and like to do reliable research on different topics and products related to food and the food industry
  • You have good Microsoft Office skills
  • You want to be part of our great team and make yourself indispensable with your friendly, open manner
  • You are willing to take on new challenges and grow with your tasks
  • Further advantageous would be initial knowledge of content management systems (Shopware) as well as initial experience with Google Analytics and common SEO tools
