Your tasks

Please note: This a fixed term contract with a duration of 2 years

At KoRo, we are rethinking the food industry by focusing on transparency, quality, and efficient digital processes. To ensure that only the best products reach our customers, we are looking for a detail-oriented Quality Manager to take full ownership of our supplier compliance and the "Positive Release" process.

Your Mission: Precision in Food Safety

You ensure that every batch delivered to our warehouse meets our strict safety and quality standards before it is cleared for sale.

  • Batch Release Management: You perform the "Positive Release" for incoming product batches by meticulously reviewing supplier laboratory results and certificates of analysis (CoA).

  • Compliance Check: You verify all lab data against specific KoRo requirements and legal food safety standards to ensure 100% conformity.

  • Supplier Communication: You are the direct point of contact for our European suppliers. You confidently negotiate and demand missing or corrected information and laboratory evidence.

  • Risk Mitigation: As a key interface in our Supplier Quality Management, you ensure that no non-conforming goods enter our active inventory.

Process Evolution: You don't just follow rules; you improve them. You will actively work on scaling and digitizing our Quality Management through the further development of SOPs, digital forms, and automated workflows.

Your profile

  • Experience: You have 3-4 years of professional experience in the food industry, specifically in Quality Management, Laboratory Coordination, or Food Safety.

  • Expertise: You have a deep understanding of food analysis, lab parameters, and

  • what "safe food" looks like on paper.

  • Communication: You are business-fluent in English. You are a confident communicator who can negotiate firmly but professionally with suppliers across Europe.

  • Digital Mindset: You love clean data and efficient processes. Experience with tools like Notion or Google Workspace (including complex Sheets) is a big plus.

Detail-Obsessed: "Good enough" is not in your vocabulary. You enjoy diving deep into technical documents to find even the smallest discrepancy.
